Idaho Christian Youth

Mission Statement:

Educating, equipping, and mobilizing young Christians to bring their faith boldly into public life, defend life, family, and faith, and promote Christian values in society.

Vision Statement:

A future where Christian principles shape public life, where young leaders stand firm in faith, and where families, communities, and culture reflect biblical truth.

Purpose Statement:

Idaho Christian Youth (ICY) exists to ensure that Christian values are not confined to private belief but actively shape culture, education, and governance, as originally intended by America’s Founding Fathers. Through advocacy, education, and civic engagement, ICY trains the next generation to take leadership roles in all areas of public life, ensuring that biblical truth remains a guiding force in Idaho and beyond. We believe that young Christians must be prepared to articulate and defend their faith, serve their communities, and influence laws and policies in accordance with Christian teaching. Our work includes public education, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and strategic partnerships to protect religious liberty, strengthen families, and uphold the dignity of human life.

Statement of Beliefs

We believe that Jesus Christ is King of Heaven and Earth and that all authority, including government, exists under His supreme rule. We affirm that the moral order revealed in Scripture and upheld by the Church provides the only true foundation for a just and flourishing society. We believe in the sanctity of life from conception, the divine design of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and the central role of the family in building strong communities. We reject the modern distortion of “separation of church and state” and affirm its true purpose: to protect the Church from government overreach, not to remove faith from the public square.

Five Pillars of Idaho Christian Youth:

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is King of Heaven and Earth, the eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, who suffered, died, and rose again for the salvation of all mankind. All earthly authority, including government, exists under His supreme authority and must conform to the moral law revealed through Scripture and preserved by the Church. We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God, and it reveals the truth by which both individuals and nations must live. We reject the modern distortion of “separation of church and state” and affirm its true purpose: to protect the Church from interference by the state—not to purge the influence of faith and moral truth from public life. We believe Christian morality, rooted in the natural law and divine revelation, is the only sure foundation for a just and flourishing society. We believe that life begins at conception, marriage is the lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that the family is the foundational cell of civilization. In all things, we believe Christ reigns, and it is our sacred duty to proclaim that truth in both word and action, unafraid and unashamed.

  • We believe that knowledge is a sacred responsibility and that Christian education is essential to forming leaders who will uphold truth and justice. ICY equips young Christians with the intellectual and moral foundation necessary to integrate their faith into every aspect of life. Through biblical teaching, theological instruction, historical understanding, and policy analysis, we ensure our members are prepared to defend and promote Christian principles with wisdom, clarity, and confidence. We emphasize the importance of critical thinking, moral courage, and lifelong learning to build a generation that can articulate the faith in the public square.
We equip young Christians with the knowledge and confidence to integrate their faith into all aspects of life. From biblical teaching to policy analysis, ICY ensures that our members are prepared to advocate for Christian principles with clarity and conviction.

  • We affirm that faithful citizenship requires active participation in governance. ICY trains young Christians to engage in the democratic process with conviction—voting according to biblical values, advocating for just policies, and holding leaders accountable to moral truth. Our programs provide the tools and training needed to participate in public debate, testify at legislative hearings, organize grassroots movements, and ensure that Christian values are represented at every level of government. Through principled engagement, we seek to build a society where faith and justice guide the laws that shape our communities.
Faith calls us to action. ICY trains young Christians to be active citizens—voting with conviction, engaging in public debate, and holding leaders accountable. We provide the tools and knowledge to influence policy, speak at hearings, and ensure that Christian values are represented in government.

  • Culture is not neutral—it reflects the values and beliefs of a society. ICY is committed to restoring a culture rooted in truth, beauty, and goodness. We encourage young Christians to actively shape media, arts, education, and entertainment by promoting works that uplift the dignity of human life, strengthen the family, and honor God. By fostering creativity and excellence in all forms of cultural expression, we seek to replace moral confusion with clarity and bring faith back to the heart of our communities. Through storytelling, music, literature, and public discourse, ICY works to renew the culture in alignment with Christian values.
Christians are called to create, not retreat. ICY supports the renewal of culture by promoting Christian media, family-centered education, and moral integrity in the arts, entertainment, and public discourse. We seek to strengthen families and communities by upholding timeless Christian virtues.

  • We believe in building lasting institutions, strong families, and resilient communities to secure a faithful future for generations to come. ICY forges alliances with churches, Christian schools, pro-life organizations, and family advocacy groups to create a unified front for defending faith and morality in public life. We provide leadership training, mentorship programs, and strategic partnerships that empower young Christians to take on roles in education, law, media, and government. By investing in the next generation and fostering an unwavering commitment to Christian principles, we ensure that faith remains a guiding force in shaping the future of Idaho and beyond.
