We reject the modern distortion of “separation of church and state” and affirm its true purpose: to protect the Church from interference by the state—not to purge the influence of faith and moral truth from public life. We believe Christian morality, rooted in the natural law and divine revelation, is the only sure foundation for a just and flourishing society. We believe that life begins at conception, marriage is the lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that the family is the foundational cell of civilization.
